Shredder is a chess program published by its author, the German programmer Stefan Meyer-Kahlen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shredder_(software)); the website (https://www.shredderchess.com/, © 2026) states a first version in 1993, commercial sales since 1997 and 19 computer chess world championship titles since 1996.
