What the service is
Listudy is developed by Arne Vogel, named on the site with the address arne@listudy.org, together with community contributions on GitHub. The public repository has existed since June 2020; the server is written in Elixir/Phoenix with PostgreSQL and released under the AGPL-3.0 licence, the site pointing out that anyone may “run the server yourself as you wish, for any purpose”. The service offers opening memorisation by spaced repetition from a PGN, tactics (including “blind tactics” and “pieceless tactics”), endgames played out against Stockfish and a daily puzzle, in ten languages including French. There is no paid plan and no advertising: the site is entirely free and the code is open.
