Chess.com diagnosis and 30-day plan

MyChessPlan review: scores and evidence

MyChessPlan reads your last 100 Chess.com games, computes 17 deterministic metrics, assigns one of 8 weakness "archetypes", then sells a 30-day plan (PDF of about 47 pages) with 3 games evaluated by Stockfish and a narrative written by Claude. It has no Lichess or PGN import, no interactive exercises and no tracking over time.

What the service is

MyChessPlan is a website created by Javier Galdames, who describes himself on the About page as an adult improver and product builder who developed his archetype framework after plateauing at 1450 in Chess.com Rapid; no publishing company or country is stated, and the launch date is not documented (the privacy policy reads "Last updated: April 30, 2026", and the first blog post is dated 23 July 2026). The service reads the last 100 games of a Chess.com account through the public API, computes about 17 deterministic metrics (win rate, loss types, opening diversity, time controls, "tilt") and classifies the player into one of 8 archetypes crossed with 3 rating bands; the web report and its PDF version are free, with no credit card. The paid part is a 30-day plan sold for a one-off $14.99 with a 30-day money-back guarantee: a PDF workbook with one page per day, Stockfish evaluations on three real games, a narrative written by Claude, a recommended repertoire and curated YouTube and Chess.com lessons; the product page states that this price applies to the first 100 customers, after which it rises to $29.99. The service accepts neither Lichess nor PGN files, offers no interactive exercises, no play, no community and no tracking over time, and exists in English only.
