Chessimo is published by 8x8 Media AG, the seller named on the App Store, where the listing carries the line “© 8x8 Media AG”. The app serves daily units of exercises — tactics, openings, strategy, endgames — through spaced repetition, with a computer opponent called “Sergio” you can take on from any exercise. It ships on iOS, iPadOS and macOS; the first public version dates from 12 May 2016 and the listing shows 4.2/5 from 57 ratings. The business model is a one-off purchase rather than a subscription: $14.99 to activate every exercise, or $2.99 per module. The site at chessimo.com did not respond when checked on 30 and 31 August 2026, which leaves the App Store listing as the only public page still reachable.
