Then 23...h5 swings the evaluation from 0.0 to -1.8 from White’s side. The chance lasts one move: 24.Rh3 gives it straight back, from +1.8 to -0.3. From there the queen checks repeat — 31...Qg5+, 32...Qc1+ — until 35.Kg2 seals the draw. Both sides finished at 71% good-or-better moves. The takeaway: a mistake only costs when the opponent spots it.
