White holds the edge until move 46, when 46.h5 swings the evaluation from +1.9 to +3.5 in Black’s favour — the turning point. Ivanchuk hands it straight back with 46...Qd8 (−3.5 to −1.5), but Shirov never converts: 49.Ne2 lets a chance slip (+2.7 to +5.4) and 50.Qa5 makes it worse (+4.4 to +6.0), with 50...Qxa5 replying (−6.0 to −3.5). Accuracy: 75% to 88%, and Black wins 0-1. The lesson: in tense endings, a single pawn move can flip everything.
