Move thirty holds the double turning point: 30.Nh4 lets the balance slip, from 0.0 to -2.1, but 30...f3 hands almost all of it back, from +2.1 to +0.5. Adams errs again with 35...Bc5+, from +2.2 to +0.2, then 38...b3 (-0.7 to -3.5) and 40...b2 (-3.5 to -5.2) complete the reversal. White played 78% at least good moves, Black 75%. The lesson: a winning position can vanish in two hurried moves.
